TETE MINING CHROME

Our Tete Company’s exploration group  is the managing partner and founder of the Ber-Oner Company, and  headquartered in İstanbul since 1987, from the discovery of Sebinkarahsiar zinc mine in Blacksea region in the 1987s to Munella copper deposit in Albania and Emarat zinc deposit in  2000s, Tete Company’s exploration group  has a long history of successful global exploration and international mine development.

The management and staff have years of experience in this field and currently we are one of the major producer of lead-zinc and copper minerals in Turkey. The Company's exploration group and Partners are  separated from one another  in Agust 2005. The company’s exploration group  changed its name to  Tete Mining in 2005, that is established in honour of our late mining engineer collegue Mr  Mustafa Tete.

Our current focus of exploration is principally in Balkans Region (Albania,Kosovo,Makedonia), Turkey and Central Asia with smaller programs in other highly prospective areas, on basic metal minerals: copper, zinc-lead and chromite.

Copper deposit in Turkey, Copper is one of the most widely used metals in the world in construction, electrical utility, communications and transportation industries. It also has many manufacturing, industrial and consumer applications and production of make brass, and Ergani copper deposit is a one of the oldest copper deposits in the world and trade has flourished between Ergani and Mesopotamia in the 3rd millennium BC. Ergani mines used to ship copper to the early settlements at Uruk of southern Iraq. The Euphrates river connected Ergani and Uruk. Vessels of the day could easily float several tons of copper downstream to Uruk in a few weeks, the transport of hundreds of tons of grain back to Anatolia was a challenging operation. Tete Company's exploration group has operated  Ergani copper open pit mine from 1995 and until it ceased operations in 2005 after the deposit was depleted.

TeteCompany's exploration group has operated Yomra and Zerbenos copper deposit in the blacksea region from 1997 and until it ceased operations in 2005.

Copper deposit in Albania, the association between Tete Company's exploration group and Albania Government began in 2000, we both have cultural and friendly connections, when Tete teams and one industry partners acquired a shareholding from Ber-Alb Limited. The Company has established Muenella Copper project since 2001 (have driven more than 5,000m  gallarys, and 250,000t/year capacity copper concentration plant, under the name BERALB).

Tete Albania (TeteAlb) is a mining service company managing all of Tete’s interests in Albania. TeteAlb is owned 100 percent by Tete. TeteAlb manages interests including exploration, government relations, taxes and other services. TeteAlb is headquartered in Tirana.

TeteAlb has developed Spac Copper deposit Project in North East Albania. (Geological reserve 3,6 million tonnes ore production in 10 years, current capacity of the planned concentration mill).

Zinc deposit in Turkey, We have estabilished zinc project in Keban, Sebinkarahisar and Kale lead-zinc deposit in Turkey since 1987. The Sebinkarahisar  Mine was in production for 20 years.

As explained above our team is higly experienced and qualified in mineral mining and processing plants.
